‘A tremendous week’ — Herbert pleased with touring teams’ performances

The RH3 Football Academy’s touring teams have completed their three-day Shepparton Cup tournament in Australia with 15 games of football and plenty of enduring memories.

The U-15s won their age group, beating Malvern City 4-2 in the final, while the U-14 Gold team finished runners-up in their section.

Academy founder Ricki Herbert said:

“As the Shepparton Cup comes to its conclusion, I would like to sincerely thank all the players, staff, parents and caregivers for their fantastic support, assistance and efforts over the past week.

“It’s been a tremendous week of football challenges and experiences for ALL players involved.

“Final winners in the U-15 age group and runners-up in the U-14 age group is a fantastic success and achievement and a true reflection of the quality of players that are coming through the RH3 Academy player development system.”
